MP3 Download Instructions
MP3 player software is required to listen to the MP3s.
To play right away:
Click on the title of the MP3. The MP3 player software should automatically open and start playing the MP3.
For best results download and save the file to your computer first, then play it.
To save to your computer:
- If you haven't already, you may want to create a new folder on your computer. This will be where you will store the MP3s you download.
- The speed of the download is based on Internet traffic and speed of the remote computer. It is possible that the download rate will be slower than the capacity of your modem. If any problems occur, or if the download stops midway for more than 3 or 4 minutes, click "Cancel" and try again.
- Right click on the MP3 link and choose "Save Target As..." or "Save Link As...", then choose the location you created above and click Save.
- When the download has finished, locate and open the folder on your computer which now contains your MP3.
- Use your favorite MP3 player software to listen to the MP3.
It is recommended that you save to your computer before transferring to any other device, such as an MP3 player, CD burner/writer or cassette recorder.
Podcast Instructions
To set up Podcasting to download Orange Hill Sermons... Or
- Open iTunes and click "Advanced"
- Click on "Subscribe to Podcast"
- Enter the following URL into the window: feed://www.orangehill.org/Sermons/ohbcsermons.rss
If you want to catch up by downloading the back catalogue of sermons... (otherwise it will just download the most recent)
- Go to your iTunes Preferences (Edit menu, Preferences)
- Click the "Podcast" tab
- Make sure "download all" is selected in "When new episodes are available:"
For the technically advanced, RSS feed files are generated for each yearly archive and can be downloaded as Podcasts. Here are the instructions and links:
